Sea Doo Rental

sea doo rental

Here at Bear Lake Rentals we use the industry leading Sea-Doo brand Personal Watercraft.

  • Sea-Doo GTI: 3 Seater, 130 horsepower:  These are the most popular model of Sea-Doo.  They have lots of power, and are very stable. These machines are great for all riders, so whether you are a beginner or have been riding your whole life, these Sea-Doos will be sure to bring a smile to your face. [Not a valid template]

Lifejackets are included in the rental price, but gas and tax is extra.  The Sea-Doo will go out full of gas at the beginning of the rental, then we will fill it back up when you return it to see how much gas was used. The average amount of gas used is about 3 gallons per hour.  This number can vary depending on how fast you ride the Sea-Doo.  If you ride it full throttle the whole time it will use more than 3 gallons per hour, but if you take it easy it would use less than 3 gallons per hour.

Some basic rules we enforce for our Sea-Doo rentals are:

– Never have the engine running in less than 3 feet of water. (doing so will cause the impeller to pull up sand and small rocks and damage it)

– Always stay at least 150 feet away from other Boats, Sea-Doos, Swimmers, or anything else you might find out on the water.

– Observe Wakeless Speed areas. Whenever  you are within 150 feet of another boat, shore, watercraft, or swimmers you must go less than 5 mph.

– Everyone on the Sea-Doo rental is required to wear a Life Jacket

– Don’t run over ropes or debris (this can get caught in the impeller and will cause damage to the Sea-Doo rental)

– Obey the weight capacity and Age limit. Weight capacity is 500 pounds, age limit is 18 and older to drive by yourself.

– No Horseplay.  This includes wake jumping, splashing or spraying other watercraft, and all other dangerous stunts.
